Resale or disclosure of information

Oxfam New Zealand does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected by our website, including email lists, to other organisations.

Privacy of our email lists

Individuals who join our mailing lists via our website or through our campaigning engagements are added to our email database. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our lists to anyone.

Unsubscribe policy

We strive to only send email to those who want to receive it. If you would not like to receive future emails from us, please use the 'unsubscribe' link located at the bottom of our email communications.

Phone calls

When we contact you, or you contact us, we like to be sure that our staff are as skilled as possible in answering your queries and having conversations with you. We therefore may monitor or record calls for quality assurance.

Spam protection of web forms

Oxfam New Zealand makes use of a third party service ("Mollum") to protect against spam submissions to our web forms. This involves "text analysis" of the content that was submitted, which requires that all content entered into our web forms is analysed and stored for anti-spam and quality monitoring purposes, in accordance with Mollum's Privacy Policy.
