You’ve come to this page to find out about William Shatner’s Pants and hopefully donate to fantastic charity that is Oxfam to help them continue the good work that they do to prevent poverty and injustice. Team William Shatner’s Pants is a mixed bag from various backgrounds.
Laurence Pidcock who's without doubt the fittest of the group and is pushing to make it to the pinnacle of Ironman Triathlon events in 2011, the Kona Ironman in Hawaii
Deb Trendle is another tri athlete and has competed in multiple Ironman triathlons
Steve Scannell has competed in a 60km off-road ultra marathon in January 2011.
And then there’s Tom Crumpton who’s only run one marathon and was persuaded to join the team by Deb in a conversation that went a little like this:
Deb "we’ve got 3 runners and need a 4th for a 100km run are you keen?"
Tom "yeah sure, 25km relay sounds like fun"
Deb "it’s not a relay, but it’ll be great!"
Tom " Oh…"
We all share a determination and desire to finish the Oxfam 100km Trailwalker so have been training hard and would really appreciate any donations you are able to make with all proceeds going to Oxfam ( we paid $600 to enter the race so you’re cash isn’t going to us to have a jolly!)
