Wellington celebrates the official opening of the Oxfam office in the capital

The honorable Luamanuvao Winnie Laban, Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector and Oxfam’s Executive Director Barry Coates, hosted a ceremony to officially inaugurate the opening of Oxfam’s office in the capital.

Over 60 guests attended the event, including Phil Goff, Minister of Defence, Disarmament and Trade, Marian Hobbs, Member of Parliament for Wellington Central, and John Hayes, spokesman on international development. They were joined by diplomatic representatives from over twenty countries and representatives from the NGO community.
