Volunteer at Oxfam Trailwalker
Volunteering is a fantastic way to meet people, bond with colleagues or friends, have a good laugh, share in the excitement of Oxfam's biggest fundraising event and most importantly make a difference.
Oxfam Trailwalker is a huge logistical exercise, not just because it spans 100km but because we need people to help out for the entire36 hours. We could not run the event without our volunteers. Almost 300 volunteers are required in many different roles over the entire event.
You don’t need any specific skills to volunteer for Oxfam Trailwalker. You can do it as an individual or we have roles available that are more suited for pairs of groups. Whether you’re a Taupo local or from the wider NZ community we’d love to hear from you.
As a thank you for your time, Oxfam will provide you with an official event T-shirt, a volunteer handbook and all meals during the weekend. Volunteers who are not Taupo locals can receive a 50% discount for YHA Taupo accommodation. Get in touch with us for more details.
Volunteer Registration will open for Oxfam Trailwalker 2013 in January, the exact dates will be announced on Facebook. Like us on Facebook now so you don't miss out.
