Oxfam Trailwalker

Oxfam Trailwalker is for everyone – so there's no excuses about being unfit! We have training guides and advice to help your team cross that line.

No man is an island and Oxfam Trailwalker teams would be incomplete without a fabulous support crew! They are key ingredients to keeping a smile on your face, treating you to a hot choccie or hopefully a massage! Start putting the word out.

All registered participants will receive a monthly Oxfam Trailwalker email newsletter. Make sure you keep up to date with the latest news, competitions, training tips and more...

Oxfam Trailwalker is all about teamwork – it is a great way for friends to bond or for work colleagues to develop team spirit. You need to start together, go through each checkpoint together, and finish together. You'll have to train and fundraise together beforehand.

Oxfam Trailwalker is challenging – but you don't need to be a marathon runner or a professional athlete to do it. Whether you're a team of engineers, over 40 mums, running buddies, university mates, with training and the right mental attitude just about anyone can complete it.

Oxfam Trailwalker challenges your team to walk or run 100km through some of central North Island’s most spectacular terrain in 36 hours. Oxfam Trailwalker is not a relay – team members must start and finish together.

That's not all – we are asking you to raise funds to help support our work to overcome poverty and injustice in some of the world’s poorest communities.

Oxfam is there to support you and your team every step of the way with training guides, fundraising tips and much more – we won’t pull you up the hills, though!
