The earthquake that struck the impoverished nation of Haiti is the most powerful to hit the Caribbean country in 200 years. It is a devastating blow for Haitians who were already struggling to survive. Immediately after the quake, Oxfam launched an unprecedented emergency response and is on the ground now, providing assistance where it is needed most.
