Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break is our principal fair trade campaign and an easy way to make a big difference for growers in the developing world.
Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break features as part of a wider calendar of events that take place nationwide each Fair Trade Fortnight, the annual celebration championed by Fairtrade Australia New Zealand.
From humble beginnings in 2007, Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break has grown year on year to become the biggest event of its kind here in New Zealand.
In 2011 more friends, workmates, community groups and families got together in celebration of Oxfam and Fairtrade than ever before with over 1000 Coffee Breaks taking place across the country, reaching out to more than 40,000 people.
Coffee Break hosts, champions of fair trade who love to share the fairness, fundraised more than $60,000 for Oxfam's work towards a fairer, safer, more sustainable world.
