Climate change in pictures

Land is Life photography exhibition
Check out our new photo exhibition Land is Life featuring photos from Tuvalu and Kirabati of communities adapting to climate change.

Climate change is putting whole communities at risk. Rains are becoming erratic. Floods and droughts are getting more frequent. And crops are dying. As a result, it’s getting harder and harder for people to provide for their families. See how communities in Tuvalu and Kiribati are living with climate change in the new Land is Life photographic exhibition.

But while some of the photos below focus on the new struggles people now face, others focus on some of the many ways people are working with Oxfam to fight back – from building dams to setting up kitchen gardens and using drought-resistant seeds.

These simple solutions have the power to change millions of lives. But in order for that to happen, the international community must respond fast and with ambition.
