Southeast Asia is a vast and diverse region, united by the many problems associated with poverty and inequality.
Asia is home to 60 percent of the world's population. It is also home to two-thirds of the world’s poorest people with 800 million people living on less than US$1 a day.
Oxfam New Zealand is currently working with some of the most disadvantaged people in the following countries and regions in Asia:
