Oxfam New Zealand (ONZ) is an international development agency affiliated to Oxfam International. We work to overcome poverty and injustice and provide well targeted, practical support to communities in the Pacific and Southeast Asia, to help them work their way out of poverty.
A vacancy has come up in our Database team for a Marketing Database Coordinator. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the sustainability and ongoing integrity of ONZ’s marketing database, Raiser’s Edge. They will also provide ongoing support and advice to a range of internal users and will help them achieve fundraising goals to support Oxfam’s ongoing programme, humanitarian and advocacy work.

Working with people in extreme poverty, Oxfam provides practical support with essentials like safe water, basic education and a reliable food supply. When natural disasters or conflicts strike, we seek to save lives and to help communities recover. We also ensure there are lasting solutions by advocating for change to the structures and policies that keep people in poverty.
Oxfam has been operating in Papua New Guinea since 2005 and has been supporting local partners since the 1990s. The Oxfam Livelihoods Programme aims to improve livelihoods, economic opportunities and food security for poor and vulnerable local communities.
To support us in this work, we seek to recruit a capable and suitably qualified Livelihoods Coordinator who will oversee the implementation of our livelihoods programme, working from Oxfam’s Goroka office.
The Livelihoods Coordinator will manage all aspects of Oxfam’s Livelihoods Programme, including oversight of both livelihoods and climate change projects.
In collaboration with implementing partners, you will take the lead in ensuring quality project implementation and partner capacity development, budget and staff management as well as provide all necessary technical input.
You will also be involved in networking with key technical agencies and will be a member of the Oxfam Highlands Programme Senior Management Team.
