Oxfam New Zealand is part of a global organisation dedicated to overcoming poverty in developing countries.
We are looking to recruit an Outbound Caller to join our successful Contact Centre fundraising team. You will be talking to new and existing supporters about our current humanitarian, advocacy and development work as well as building committed relationships to Oxfam New Zealand through Oxfam+me!, our regular giving programme.
The role is based in central Auckland and will suit someone looking for part time, evening-based work. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, excellent telephone manner, strong communication skills, a good eye for detail, experience of telephone fundraising or outbound calling and of working effectively in a target driven environment. A knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and database experience (preferably Raiser’s edge), while not essential, would be an advantage.
This permanent role is available immediately, working 6 hours per week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The rate offered is $17.57 per hour.
