Currently, we have a key vacancy in our Supporter Relations team toraise funds for Oxfam’s programming, advocacy and campaigning work by leading the supporter engagement activities for key Oxfam events, in particular Oxfam Trailwalker, and by providing an outstanding experience for supporters, members of the public, and businesses who are in direct contact with Oxfam.
This varied role will suit candidates who are confident and outgoing, canbuild strong, effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, supporters and donors, and are able to prepare and deliver compelling presentation to different audiences. You will have also hadexperience or involvement in delivering fundraising events, a sound knowledge of fundraising principles, customer care and tele-fundraising/phone sales experience and excellent project management, organisational/time management and IT skills (particularly in Microsoft Office applications and relational databases). An interest in international development and a commitment to Oxfam’s values are equally important.
Based in Central Auckland, we offer a friendly work environment, inspiring work colleagues and the opportunity to develop a career in fundraising and events management. The role attracts a starting salary of $51,125 per annum (annual pay review pending). A higher starting salary may be payable, depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
