If you would like to help raise funds to support our live changing work, then join our Supporter Relations team. You will be in contact with new and existing Oxfam supporters via the phone, email and in person and will be telling them about Oxfam’s current humanitarian, advocacy and development work. You will also be taking supporters on a journey that encourages them to engage with Oxfam for deeper and longer and will help to maintain the administrative elements of our regular giving programmes (Oxfam+Me, Oxfam100, Oxfam 1000), as well as fulfill small volume support materials and provide general administrative support as required.
The role works in a shift pattern from 12.00 – 8.30 pm, Mondays to Thursdays, and 9.30 am – 5.00 pm on Fridays. While start and end times will be agreed, some flexibility is needed throughout the year as outbound calling requirements will vary.
The successful candidate is likely to be outgoing, people orientated, with strong administration and tele-fundraising experience. You will also have good administration experience, ideally gained in a marketing or fundraising function, and have an interest in development and social justice issues as well as excellent written and telephone communication skills.
