Indonesia Earthquake & Tsunami Appeal
Oxfam is providing humanitarian assistance in Indonesia, after the island of Sulawesi was hit by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake that prompted a massive tsunami that devastated villages and homes. More than 1,900 people have lost their lives so far and at least 1.5 million people have been affected.
Oxfam is working urgently with local partners in Indonesia and plans to reach 500,000 people with essential aid, including ready-to-eat meals, sanitation, water purification kits, and emergency shelters.
You can support our humanitarian response to the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia by donating today. Your support can help save lives.
Note: Should the funds raised exceed the amount required to meet the immediate and longer-term needs of the people in the affected areas, Oxfam New Zealand will direct donations to respond to other emergencies as they occur.
