Bennett Boys

We are a a family team consisting of three brothers and an uncle aiming to complete the 100 km event in 17 hours.

We are:-

  1. Simon Te Manahi Bennett - a 31 year old psychologist residing in Wellington.  The teams charismatic leader.  His team mates consider him to be their 'Master and Commander'.  2007 mileage to date:730 km.
  2. Hamish Katea Bennett - a 29 year old primary school teacher/writer/t-shirt entrepreneur residing in Whangarei.  A natural athlete - he seems to excel at whatever he puts his hand to.  Sadly this is balanced out by his brittle bones.  2007 mileage to date: 647 km.
  3. Michael Te Arawa Bennett - a 42 year old writer/director residing in Grey Lynn.  He is the most experienced runner in the team with several sub-3 hour marathons under his belt.  He is also the team member most likely to wear pink.   2007 mileage to date: 809 km.
  4. Maika Jonathon Bennett - a 26 year old public servant residing in Wellington.  Maika is the youngest, shortest, heaviest and handsomest member of the team.  2007 mileage to date: 710 km.
