Annette "Netty" Hamilton

We are all up for an amazing fitness challenge, keen to raise funds for an awesome charity, while having lots of fun along the way and celebrating the life of our friend and former work colleague at the same time - James "Batty" Batty lost to us on the 26th November 2010 sorely missed but never forgotten.
Our Support Team/s:

Service Capability (TRiM)
This is a great cause and we are a great team. We will regularly edit this page with our trainings up until the event :)

5 April 2010

With only 4 sleeps to go, the training and fundraising is about to all come to a head with our big walk this weekend.

Slowly but surely we have been getting ourselves prepared for what is going to be the huge challenge of walking 100kms in less than 36 hours. As much of it mental as physical!

Our fundraising has been going well, and we are edging closer and closer to our $2500 target (we are hopeful to exceed this!) Our messages to friends and family on facebook and also during meetings at work to support the cause, and our BIG Online Information Bake Sale have been all generously supported.

We have a great support crew making the journey with us down to Taupo, consisting of Alvina Sciascia Bizaoui, Anna Hunt, Anthony Smith, Milly Mitimeti, Mandy De Beer, William Gunning to be our supportive and encouraging cheerleaders and who are generously going to cook and prepare all our food during the event throughout the checkpoints.

A huge THANK YOU to all of those who have generously donated so far - and for those who have supported us on multiple occasions BIG brownie points to you!!

To those whose names aren't on our team page yet there is still time! We are going to attempt to plot our progress during the event via the fantastic XT network on android devices.

Thanks again for all your support as we build up to the start line on the 9th April… Think of us and our wonderful support crew as you enjoy your relaxing Saturday morning brekkie :)
