Oxfam's campaigns and programmes help people in so many different ways. Our climate adaptation and livelihoods programmes help people earn a steady, sustainable income so that they can pay for their children's school fees, improve their homes, and save for emergencies. We organise skills trainings and distribute clean water and food vouchers to refugees and people recovering from disasters. Our campaigns push people in power to do more to protect people and the planet. And our Kōtui programme in the Pacific helps women gain leadership positions, be involved in community decision-making, and get climate funding from their governments. All of our work aims to change unfair underlying systems, so that everyone has the education, resources, and opportunities they need not just to survive, but thrive.
