How does this gift help?:
Around the world natural and human-made disasters force millions of people to flee their homes and leave everything behind. Many arrive in refugee camps with only the clothes they are wearing. Your gift makes sure that refugees and others affected by have clean water to drink and wash themselves.
One of the families supported by Oxfam humanitarian work is Rosina. Rosina and her two daughters are Rohingya refugees, living in a refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh. Jesma, (10), and Jainab, (8). They help their mother with running the household. The two young girls are responsible for collecting water each day for washing, bathing and cooking. Jesma shines with ambition and wants to be a doctor when she gets older. Your gift gives Rosina’s family renewed hope and a chance of a better future.
