Fair Trade Fortnight is New Zealand’s annual celebration of all things Fairtrade! In 2013 it was celebrated from 4-19 May and the theme was Fairtrade Karma ("Buy Fairtrade & good things will happen"). There were a range of events, including Oxfam's Biggest Coffee Break.

You can stay in touch with what happened by visiting the official Fair Trade Fortnight website

Choosing Fairtrade products is an easy and effective way to ensure that producers and growers in the developing world get a fair price for their goods so they can work their way out of poverty. Keep a look out for Fair Trade Fortnight events, activities and promotions near you.

And if you haven’t already made the swap to Fairtrade, then now's the time.

Oxfam's Morning Tea
