Media and Communications Intern

Currently, we have an exciting internship opportunity within our Communications and Media team for creative and skilled communicators. If you have (or are working towards) a degree in communications, journalism or PR, and/or commensurate professional skills/experience then we want to hear from you!

You will play a key role in helping to generate valuable exposure for Oxfam’s campaigns, programming and fundraising activities, and will act as a key interface between the Communications team and the wider Engagement team on fundraising activities.

Working 2-3 days per week for six months, you will support the work of our Media and Communications Advisor and have the opportunity to gain valuable media relations and communications experience, including experience in online, print and broadcasting media. Knowledge of and/or an interest in New Zealand media is required.
