Together, we can help change lives.
Dil and her family fled violence in Myanmar and now they are among more than one million Rohingya people living in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh – the world’s largest refugee camp.
“When they started shooting and killing people, we came to the camp to save our lives.” – Dil, mother of four.
Cox’s Bazar was never meant to be permanent. It is dangerously overcrowded. Toilets overflow into narrow pathways where children play. Clean water sources are easily contaminated and the risk of disease skyrockets.
“Should I use that water to bathe and cook, or should I wash clothes with that?” Dil asked. “I cannot bathe my children because of the scarcity of water…”
The camp is poorly lit and has little security. Women and girls face serious risk of physical and sexual violence when trying to reach toilets after nightfall.
You can help change that.
