Quality assurance for the Board of Trustees of Oxfam New Zealand.

It is also an advisory committee to the Executive Director and Partnerships Director of Oxfam New Zealand, with a focus on the programme portfolio. The functions of the Partnerships Committee are as follows:
  • To provide quality assurance for the Board and to monitor and support the effective delivery of current and proposed programmes;
  • To provide advice to the Executive Director and the Partnerships Director on the strategic direction of the Partnerships portfolio; and
  • Facilitate linkages and connections to broader thought leadership that maximise accountability.
As a part of this work, the Partnerships Committee also works to maximise accountability to the people with whom we work. This includes our partners in the Pacific and the wider Oxfam confederation. They support the quality of partnerships and programmes, which reflect the Oxfam 2020 vision.
