Oxfam has launched an emergency response following flash floods in Nepal on 26 August. Over 1,200 have lost their lives and more than 4,200 are still missing, as concern rises about possible further floods to come.

Oxfam is working with community partners in Nepal to immediately supply families with emergency hygiene kits and clean water for households in the hardest-hit district. But we urgently need funding to scale up our response and reach people with hygiene kits, food and nutritional supplies, temporary shelters and clean water.
